The Langman Cup 2017

The end of September can be a depressing time of year. The summer weddings and parties are drying up, the days are getting shorter and winter is very much on the horizon. But don’t worry Joyce Guiness are giving you one more thing to keep clinging on to Summer 2017- The Langman Cup Polo Game.

This polo game is being organised by Ingrid’s sister and we are proud to be sponsoring the event! It is being held at the Epsom Polo Club and we truly believe that it will be an amazing day. There will be at least two polo games, the first being the famous HAC (Honourable Artillery Club) and Epsom Polo Club, they have a famous rivalry so be sure not to miss out. Not only will there be polo games, but, the local RAC Club is lending a classic car for a horse to race against. We have definitely not seen this before and we cannot wait to watch it!

If the polo and car race does not win you over, we would hope that the Champagne and Oyster bar will. Taittinger are one of the other sponsors, there will be a bar and plenty of bubbles to fuel the day!

The event is being held in memory of Roy Langman, tickets will be £5- bought on the door and all of the money will go to Marie Curie. As well as this, there will be a raffle with some incredible prizes, including a five night stay in a top resort in Jamaica, a Fortnum and Mason hamper and a magnum of Premier Cru Burgundy.

To get there, you can drive as there is parking, or, there are frequent trains from London and a short taxi ride to the Polo club.
